Boys’ Hockey
WHS Comet Hockey is a long-standing tradition at Waupaca High School. Our vision for the program is: “To create an environment where our players display character, integrity and sportsmanship that becomes the foundation within our high school, community and youth programs as they strive yearly for championship success in life and hockey.” Regardless of skill level, being part of a team is sometimes more important. Girls’ Hockey
Waupaca, along with Iola, Amherst, Wisconsin Rapids, SPASH, and Marshfield High School have formed a co-op in order to make this team happen. We are continuing to look for anyone interested in giving it a try. We will assist new skaters with equipment and are willing to work with all skill levels. We will be practicing and playing games up to 6 nights per week, so it takes a great commitment to play.
We want the student/athlete to come away with a positive experience that includes teamwork, commitment, leadership, friendship, fun, and a love of hockey. Practices will begin in early November, and the season will go into February. If you are interested, you can contact Dan Bauer or Mrs. Simonson. See you this winter!!!!
